Introduction

 

The “International Inventor’s Day” event was established by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) to raise awareness of the role of inventors in our daily lives, and to celebrate the contribution made by inventors to the development of science, technology and societies across the globe. The “International Inventor’s Day (IID)” must be organized together with an selected national similar event. The the first issue of “International Inventor’s Day (IID)” was celebrated on 2nd of February 2008 in Bangkok together the Inventor's Day in Thailand.

 

The IFIA ExCo was accepted that the 7th issue of International Inventor’s Day be together with Hungarian Inventors' Day. It is the priority day (13 June, 1941) of the patent application of the first Vitamin C technology invented by Albert Szent-Györgyi (Nobel-prize awarded Hungarian scientist).

The Association of Hungarian Inventors (MAFE) had been established on 21 August 1989. The celebration of the 25th MAFE's Jubilee will be together the Celebration of Hungarian Inventors' Day and the International Inventors' Day.

After the parade seat "Inventor's Picnic" follows. Start 14:00 End 18:00. The location of Budapest, Árpádföld Vadruca utca 20, which Éva Vári MAFE member's house and garden. She makes the stew cooked lunch. Drinks, cookies, guests are taken.

The 7th  Celebration of International Inventors’ Day will be held on the Hungarian Inventors’ Day (June 13, Friday) by virtual way according to the decision of the IFIA ExCo.

The IFIA President asks the members to send an electronic invention info (pdf, text with illustrations) to ifia@inventor.hu , for the extension of the "International Inventor Virtual Hall of Fame" as follows:

1.     Country - the name of IFIA organization

2.     Inventor of the first ever patented domestic invention, name of inventors, title, priority date and some illustration (if you have)

3.     Inventors of the 3 top patented domestic inventions in the XX. Century - name of inventors, titles, priority date, very short descriptions and some illustrations (if you have)

4.     Inventors of the 3 top patented domestic inventions in the XXI. Century - name of inventors, titles, priority date, very short descriptions and some illustrations (if you have)
