IFIA is the universal acronym for International Federation of Inventors' Associations. It is a non-governmental organization created by inventor associations in 1968, in London. IFIA is based in Geneva, Switzerland since 1991. Its membership, which is composed of associations of inventors, organizations and companies, come from some 100 countries.

The Honorary President of IFIA is Dr. Farag Moussa.
