Domagoj HORVAT: GARAGE PARKING SPACE USE CONTROL SYSTEM
1.  The Invention
	Title : GARAGE PARKING SPACE USE CONTROL SYSTEM The project has been carried out as an international project for 3 years as a joint project of the Ruđer Bošković Technical School, Zagreb, Croatia, and Bežigrad Vocational School, Ljubljana, Slovenia. The system’s intended use is for garage parking space use control. A plan of the parking spaces is shown on the LCD information panels inside the garage. The LCD information panels give the drivers an overview of the free parking spaces, marked in green, and occupied parking spaces, marked in red, with a number marking for every parking space. The system comprises two parts. The first part is a computer programme that provides the quick and easy creation of a numbered garage parking space plan for all of a garage’s levels. The system’s computer programme shows statistical information about the use of the parking space and displays advertising or informative content on the LCD information panels. The other part of the system is the central unit that controls the functioning of the whole system and is connected with the central computer and the built-in sensors in every parking space.
