Title : GENERATOR-TRANSFORMER
BLOCK MONITORING SYSTEM Transformer The block
monitoring system enables the integrated monitoring of generator and
transformer in the power plant. The usual
configuration of the generator and transformer monitoring systems is as
independent systems with peripheral equipment, servers and communication
modules, which raises the cost of the system and makes running and
maintenance harder. The Končar block system
integrates on one server the monitoring of the generator and transformer with
the communication with other systems in the facility. The block
monitoring system is made up of sensors and a monitoring box on the
transformer, sensors and monitoring box on the generator, communication link
and a server. The block
monitoring system is a commercial product. The
innovation’s advantages are in integrating two systems into one, which cuts
the number of servers needed from two to one, thus decreasing the price of
the product, and simplifying maintenance and usage. Searching for:
