Title
Oil
removal from waters
The problem the inventor(s) wanted to solve
The
aim of the invention is to bind oil pollution on the surface of living waters
with a natural material.
Description.
A
sponge-like material produced from the stems of sunflowers is used as an
absorbing stuff to bound oil pollution. The outside of the stem is removed
from the inside sponge-like material and it is grinded to get the absorbing
material. This product is put in the elements of a filter cordon, then its
blocked or porous form is put into the water.
Presentation.
The
appointed task is solved in a complex way by a decantation procedure and using
a cordon consisted of special filter elements. During the procedure we use a
natural absorbing material to bind the oil. We put this material in
cylindrical closed filter elements which swim in the water. We can compass
round all or part of the pollution with forming a cordon from these elements.
Moreover, if we disperse the absorbing material onto the surface of the water,
it binds the pollution and we can decant the compassed round oil with it. The
main point of this procedure is that we use the inside sponge-like part of the
stems of sunflowers as natural absorbing stuff. This stuff is put in filter
elements and sprinkled onto the surface of the polluted water in a grinded or
blocked form. The oil which is bound in the filter elements is taken away from
the water together with the absorbing material. To make it, we use such filter
elements whose filter cloak can be opened and which can’t rotate. Blocking the
absorbing material is necessary because in windy weather the sprinkling can be
made more precise and more saving. The wet absorbing material can be pressed
into blocks, then it dries and stays in one piece. In the case of still water
(lakes), we make a chain from cordon elements and compass the pollution round
with it. In the case of living water (rivers), the cordon must be expanded in
45° with the bank facing the swimming of the pollution. The grinded or blocked
form of the inside part of the stems of sunflowers is sprinkled onto the
compassed separated oil pollution in order to bind the pollution extending on
large surface. At the edge of the pollution the stable non-rotating swimming
cordon is able to bind the oil by its fill. So it is guaranteed that no
pollution can get out of the cordon. The pollutants bound on the surface can
be decanted with a filter. The oil can be destroyed if we burn it together
with the cordon, or the oil can be squeezed from the cordon as well.

Environmental

Advantages
We
can make a useful environment-friendly material from a needless one to protect
the environment. The procedure from beginning to end is to protect the
environment and moreover, it is not expensive.
