Title: Dancing and Sporty (DANSPORTY) Robots System The problem the
inventor(s) wanted to solve: Developing autonomous mobile robot that simulates behavior of humans to
cooperate with each other is the problem that this invention will address. Specifically
it focuses on problems in navigation and cooperation control among robots. Description: DANSPORTY Robot System
exhibit social, educational, and entertaining behavior of robots. The robots
have the following capabilities: a)
Dancing - Live with any type of music (disco,
ballroom, etc.). b)
Field demonstrations and synchronize motions
(groups of robots at any time). c)
Sports competition such as: Soccer football,
Golf, Wrestling, Track Race, etc. The robots are controlled by AI computer program and perform its
tasks autonomously. Presentation: This DANSPORTY Robot
system has the following Features: a)
Camera Vision System that serves as the eyes
of the robots. b)
RF Wireless robot communication system c)
PC/Laptop – Contains the AI programs for the
system to operate: d)
Autonomous Mobile Robots –performs various
tasks at real time. Fields of application: This invention can be applied directly to manufacturing process automation, and academic research dealing with mechatronics, intelligent control, vision system, wireless communication, microelectronics, and Artificial Intelligence. Advantages: This invention has strong impact to manufacturing industry and to local
community. This is a state-of-the-art
client-server based application that provides real-time data acquisition and
information processing. Real-time data
acquisition is done through a vision system and local wireless communication
network. Furthermore, this invention provides a platform that will encourage
and motivate students to study science and technology. Stage of development:. Production item Documentation available: ( )
