1.  The Invention

Title: Instrument for Nnondestructive testing by eddy current method type WIROTEST 302

The problem the inventor(s) wanted to solve – This device is used for stresses measurements, hardness and thickness of the diffusion layers and coatings, the occurance of flaws and determining their size, as well as detection and localization of grinding burns and the size and type of material degradation.

Description: In the Institute Precision Mechanics has been developed and built an instrument type WIROTEST 302. It is used during the nondestructive research with the eddy  current method, it has its main applications in production process and in diagnostics machine parts and devices, as well as technological installations.

Fields of application
: This device is used for stresses measurements, hardness and thickness of the diffusion layers and coatings, the occurance of flaws and determining their size, as well as detection and localization of grinding burns and the size and type of material degradation.

Advantages: This device is used for stresses measurements, hardness and thickness of the diffusion layers and coatings, the occurance of flaws and determining their size, as well as detection and localization of grinding burns and the size and type of material degradation. Furthermore, it can be used in the diagnosis for the depth of corrosion pinholes, the changes in material structure, thickness of the tank walls and to monitor the run of the local corrosion process.
