Title: HYDROMULCHING

The problem the inventor(s) wanted to solve:  Using biogas in more efficient way as a fuel to generate electrical power from a landfill site.

Protecting odor from being transmitted to atmosphere.

Description: Hydromulching can be described as  spreading the surface of the waste with the mixture of transformed cellulose and wooden fibers consisting of polymers, enzymes and enriching additives. The mixture when being treated with water produces dense liquid substance which is sprayed with the help of specially constructed seeder and soon after evaporating the substance creates biodegradable crust on the waste surface.

Presentation:  Poster

Fields of application:  hydromuching can be used in landfill sites.

Advantages: The method itself is low cost, rather simple and not demanding much time to put it into practice. It requires about 60 minutes to cover with isolating layer a landfill of  840 square meters. That time is needed to spread the mixture over the surface. Raw materials to produce hydromulch are available on many domestic markets.
