	Title: Active plasticizing unit of the extruder The problem the inventor(s) wanted to solve: Activity of the plasticizing unit of the single screw extruder means such the unit construction that it is possible to make an effective change of the extrusion process characteristic in dependence on the extruded polymer without stopping the extruder. Description. A general idea of what the invention is about. The solution of the problem presented above is two essential constructional changes of the extruder plasticizing unit: the construction change in the feeding zone of the plasticizing unit and adding the cylinder rotating element with a separate drive in the plasticizing unit. Both of these solutions give the possibility of the constructional elements changes of the extruder plasticizing unit without stopping the machine, in dependence on extrusion needs, what means during the extrusion process. Presentation: Poster Fields of application: Polymer processing Advantages: Increasing of the extrusion process output, improving the extrudate quality and increasing the flexibility of the extruder what means readjusting its parameters to the requirements depending on the kind of the extruded polymer, for example.
