solve: The idea of
the invention is the apply
of a special mechatronic, servo-controlled, and sensor monitored spatial movement system to
carry out the exercises of paralyzed
upper limbs of patients after stroke or orthopedic diseases for physical
restoration. Description: RENUS-1 is the
physiotherapist-assisting mechatronic system that
can perform complex, controlled, and monitored spatial movements of patient’s
upper limb during the rehabilitation exercises under supervision of a physioterapist. The system helps in performing
painstaking work requiring significant physical force and many repetitions of
a single exercise. Physiotherapist can supervise many exercising patients at
