Title: Computer
aided application for Auger electron spectra analysis
The problem the
inventor wanted to solve: The created application is
computer-aided soft-ware to carry out semi-automatic analysis of Auger electron
spectra. AES permits to qualify chemical analysis and to mark relative
concentration of chemical elements into the sample.
Description: The
software permits to process both differential and integral spectra. On basis
of spectral series of the studied sample it is able to create the depth
profile of chemical elements. The application is a complex of three modules:
GUI, Mathematical Model and Chemical Elements Database. Each of modules can
be used to develop and create the new software tools.
Presentation: Computer-aided software. The processing of spectra
runes in three stages, to which we include: import of data, real analysis as
well as display and saving of results.
Fields of application:
The software tool allow to
accelerate and systematize work in AES laboratory. It needs a computer with
installed MS Win. 98/2000/XP/Vista operating system
Advantages: Aided
application importing and exporting to popular data formats, processing of
spectra from different manufacturer spectroscopes, user friendly GUI,
graphical visualization display of results, multiple noise reduction and
differentiation methods, accurate finding of the Auger peaks and
subordinating them of suitable chemical elements, marking of relative
concentration of elements, creating of the depth profile of chemical
elements.
