Title: An intumescent fire retardant and the metod of its manufacture
The problem the inventor(s) wanted to solve:  A technology of a new, effective intumescent system has been developed for protection of flammable materials against fire.

Description: This intumescent fire retardant  is very effective as compared to conventional intumescent fire retardants. The performance of the coating is achieved by proper selection of carbonizing, foam-forming, dehydrating agents and modifiers, including very effective high dispersion components in “nano scale”. Application of modifiers in form of so called “nano-particles” in this  system significantly improves the fire retardancy and thermal insulation effectiveness of the system.

Fields of application: This intumescent fire retardant  effectively protects wood and different wood derivatives (plywood, particleboard, high and low density fiberboard) in non-flammable degree

Advantages: This intumescent system  does not change a natural appearance of protected material thanks to transparency of a coating. This intumescent fire retardant and coating formed by this system does not emit any toxic substances and poses no threat to the environment nor to humans health. This allows for the system application in places permanently occupied by people.
