The method of felting wool with the use of ultrasound. The problem the inventor(s)
wanted to solve Elaboration of the method of felting wool fibers
with the use of ultrasounds. Description.
The invention is based on felting wool material
using an acoustic ultrasound wave as a mechanical agent. In this method the
material to be felted is placed between two steel plates where one at least
one is connected with exciters of ultrasound waves. Both plates are
simultaneously pressed together with the force dependent on the density of
the felted material where the force is determined empirically. The ultrasound waves
generated bath one or both plates create vibrations in the material fibers
and the pressure and felting bath cause permanent fiber bonding. Presentation.
