Title: Equipment
for the functional treatment of a bone fractures The problem the inventor(s)
wanted to solve Knee
Stabiliser with Adaptable Kinematics for Functional Treatment of
Periarticular Fractures Description The
knee stabiliser with adaptable kinematics for
functional treatment of periarticular fractures
enables movements between the shank and the thigh during the whole treatment
period, which are so close to natural physiological movements that they do not
interfere with the process of the union of the fractured bone and they
realize the principle of functional treatment. Presentation.
Describe how the invention looks like Knee joint stabiliser - clinical implementation Fields of application Functional
Treatment of Periarticular Fractures of the Knee Joint Advantages The
knee stabiliser enables adjusting movements that
allow the movements forced by the stabiliser to
comply with the natural physiological movements of the joint, with an
inaccuracy to be compensated by the joint flexibility. The range of motion of
the joint flexion is ≤ 130°, while the range of motion in the main
articulation A is = 100°, and in the articulation B - polar rotation ≤
30°. The value of the polar rotation is determined by the individual
characteristics of the knee and therefore the actual range of flexion in the
joint can be different for each patient. Stage of
