Title
Method
of Production of Titanium Dioxide Metal Titanates from Titanium Tetrachloride. Description. Give a
general idea of what the invention is about (maximum 5 lines). The
method consists in application of nitric acid
which as less volatile moves
the hydrochloric acid out of the concentrated solution of titanium
tetrachloride in hydrochloric acid. Titanium nitrate sol is doped by second
ingredient and ascorbic acid, which will bring about
stabilization of sol and, as well as an extra reduction in the temperature. Stable sols can be used for production powders and films on various
support. Presentation.
Presentation will be in form of professionally prepared poster with figures. TiO2 in motor industry and as active layers on
fixed catalyser elements. Li2TiO3 is
applied as a material which reproduces tritium in fusion thermonuclear
reactors, the main future energy source in the world. BaTiO3 may be widely
applied in electronics. Advantages
Application of cheep industrial material as Titanium Tetrachloride for
synthesis of various titanium compounds by sol-gel process instead of
commonly used titanium alkoxides radically decrease their production cost. |
