EUROINVENT
2019 REPORT
European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation was held with the participation of over 18 foreign official del-
egations, which represented 42 countries. The EUROINVENT Festival was opened on 16th of May and closed on
18th of May at the Palace of Culture Iasi, ROMANIA.
The EUROINVENT opening took place in Henri Coanda Hall of Palace of Culture Iasi, ROMANIA, at 11 o’clock on
16th of May in the presence of distinguished guests.
After the EUROINVENT Opening, the ICIR EUROINVENT Conference was opened and continued with Keynote
Speakers presentations. The EUROINVENT competition had participated more than 620 inventions and research
projects from 42 countries. From Romania were presented 16 universities, 16 national research institutes, 10
companies and 5 individual inventors. There were more than 7.000 visitors at the exhibition for three days.
The Jury was formed by specialists in various branches. Each project was evaluated by two Jury members – one
Romanian and the other International. All registrations were analyzed according to the Evaluation Chart on the
following criteria: Novelty, Usefulness, Design, Low cost and WOW factor. The Specialist could also use other
criteria as: Originality of the innovation, Scientific return/opportunities, Project feasibility, Potential users/ ap-
plications, Risk management, Market opportunities/ Threats, Social & economical impact.
EUROINVENT International Conference on Innovative Research (ICIR) brings yearly leading researchers, engi-
neers and scientists who present actual research results in the field of Materials Science and Engineering.
The conference aims to provide a high-level international forum for researchers, engineers and scientists to pres-
ent their new advances and research results in the field of materials science and engineering.
The Conference was opened with the welcome speeches from the organizers, followed by Keynote Speaker Ses-
sions of some outstanding scientists in the field of Materials Science.
