such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam,
the Philippines, Taiwan, Macau, Jordan, Egypt,
India, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Iran with a total of
more than 250 Projects and 800 participants.
Through this innovation exhibition, IYIA proved
that development of science is accelerating. In-
novative findings were developed for the ad-
vancement of human civilization.
International This year, IYIA used a different judging system
Young Inventors from the previous year. The judging process
was conducted in the classroom to make par-
ticipants deeply focus on understanding of
their innovations.
Award Displays IFIA Best Invention Medal was given in IYIA
2017 along with the other prizes including
Innovations of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Special Award, Semi Grand
Prize and Grand Prize in the form of fully fund-
ed competition to an international event and
Youth scholarship.
The technological advancement
of innovation among academics
and students is quite fast. To pro-
mote and appreciate the young
innovators around the world in an
innovation and invention exhibi-
tion, International Young Inven-
tors Award (IYIA) is annually orga-
nized. The 4th edition of IYIA was
organized by Indonesian Inven-
tion and Innovation Promotion
Association (INNOPA) and sup-
ported by International Federa-
tion of Inventors Association (IFIA)
for 2 days, 22-23 September 2017
at the campus of Mercu Buana Ja-
karta University.
IYIA 2017 convened various insti-
tutions from different countries
