tion of Inventions staged concurrently at the Guangdong Tanzhou In-
ternational Convention and Exhibition Center GICEC in Foshan, China.

The keynote speakers of the forum included the representatives from
CAI, American National Academy of Inventors, Korea Invention Promo-
tion Association, Conversio Change Management (Germany), Indian
Ocean Rim Association, The Stockholm Inventors' Association, Japan
Science and Technology Agency, and Beijing University of Aeronautics
and Astronautics among others.

Moreover, speakers at the Special Session were present from Xiangtan
University/APICC Hong Kong, IFIA TTC, World Women Inventors and
Entrepreneurs Association, Association of European Inventors, Asso-
ciation of Thai Innovation and Invention Promotion, KRAFT 256 LTD-
Uganda, Manila Youth Inventors Association, Beijing Fortune Fountain
Children Development Group, the Lodz University of Technology (Po-
land) and Niger’s Association for the Promotion of Invention and Inno-
vation (by correspondence).

Medals were granted to national and international inventions by CAI,
IFIA and WIPO, etc. at the Awarding and Closing Ceremony.

Finally, it was determined to organize the third annual of World Innova-
tion and Invention Forum with the underlying theme of “Artificial Intel-
ligence and Robotics/Robotics and Commercialization of Inventions ”
together with the 10th China International Exhibition of Inventions in
November 2018.

Supported by International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) and cosponsored by China As-
sociation of Inventions (CAI) as well as Foshan Municipal Government, the second World Invention and
Innovation Forum (WIIF) opened in Foshan City, Guangdong Province on November 23, 2017.

Lasting for three days, WIIF convened the delegates of over 40 countries, regions and international orga-
nizations including World Intellectual Property Organization, International Federation of Inventors’ As-
sociation, World Association of Inventors and Entrepreneurs, European Invention Association and Indian
Ocean Rim Association, etc.

The opening speeches were delivered by Mr. Lu Yongxiang, Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee,
Mr. Pan Yunhe, CAI President, Mr. Alireza Rastagar, IFIA President, Chief of Ministry, Governor of Guang-
