 The Six International Exhibition of Inventions (Suzhou) is jointly organized by the China Association of Invention (CAI), IFIA and the Government of Suzhou city, supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Intellectual Property Office, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the China Association of Science and Technology and Government of Jiangsu Province. SIEI will be opened on Oct.16, 2008 and closed on Oct. 19, 2008 in Suzhou Expo Centre.

 SIEI will highlight the subject of Mass Innovation and Harmonious Development, focus on Saving Energy, Reducing Discharge, Serving for the Peasants, Country and Agriculture, and take Displaying Exchange, Awarding Inventions, Promoting transfer and Creating Atmosphere as main contents of the Exhibition. There will be over 30 foreign delegations from Asia, Europe, North America and Africa participating in the fair in addition to various internal inventors’ organizations from the Provinces, Autonomous Regions, Municipal Cities, Ministries of the State Council, PLA Military Agencies, the Hong Kong and the Macao Special Administration Regions and Taiwan. There will be over 3000 participating inventions occupying about 1000 display booths in Expo.

 IFIA Jubilee Celebration, General Assembly and Conference will be held during the Festival. All participating inventions will be judged and the gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to those selected in addition to the special prizes established by the International Organizations and concerned Agencies. At the same time, the activities will be held bringing excellent inventions to local enterprises and investors to contact. The platform will be established and conditions will be created for the participating inventors to seek the cooperation counterparts, to commercialize their patented inventions, to mobilize the activities for mass inventions and to promote the exchange of international invention achievements.

 There are thousands of foreign and local inventors presenting and gathering at the Fair. The inventors and the people from all walks of life are welcome to take part in this event.
