                                     THE 37  INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF INVENTIONS, NEW TECH-
                                             th
                                     NOLOGIES AND INDUSTRIAL DESIGN “INVENTION BELGRADE 2023”,
                                     AND THE 6th YOUTH CUP OF NATIONS BELGRADE 2023.
                                     From June 13-16, 2023, the 37  International Exhibition of In-
                                                                           th
                                     ventions, New Technologies, and Industrial Design “Invention Bel-
                                     grade 2023” was held in the premises of the Ethnographic Muse-
                                     um under the auspices of IFIA, as well as the 6  Cup of Youth
                                                                                             th
                                     Nations of Belgrade 2023. Many innovators from 10 countries
                                     took part in the Exhibitions as well.
                                     At the beginning of the opening, the chairman of the Association
                                     of Inventors of Belgrade recalled the significant successes of this
                                     Association since its existence in 1925, then the renewed Asso-
                                     ciation with a modern approach to the organization since 1956,
                                     as well as the start of holding the traditional “Invention Belgrade”
                                     Exhibitions since 1980. Over 3,850 exhibits were exhibited at
                                     those exhibitions, over 4,500 authors participated, over 2,000
                                     works were registered in the National Bureaus, and over 1,600
                                     works were placed on the market. The exhibitions were visited
                                     by a total of over 250,000 visitors. More than 1,500 recognitions
                                     were awarded, including more than 600 gold medals. Serbian
                                     inventors have received over 360 awards at foreign exhibitions.
                                     During the opening of the 37th Exhibition, the Association award-
                                     ed 10 awards to long-term partners of the Association, such
                                     as companies that are dedicated to innovative activities in their
                                     communities, i.e., institutions such as faculties, institutes, and
                                     entrepreneurs that are successful in realizing innovative results
                                     on the domestic and foreign markets.
                                     The exhibition was welcomed on behalf of IFIA by Zoran Barisic,
                                     and evoking the work and works of the famous Serbian inventor,
                                     mathematician, travel writer, and much more was spoken by Dr.
                                     Sarboh Snezana, Ph.D.
                                     The exhibition was visited by over 1,000 participants, and the
                                     best-awarded work went to Grad Pry for the invention “A SYS-
                                     TEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC CLASSIFICATION OF UV/
                                     VIS SIGNALS IN DIAGNOSTICS OF BILIARY CIRRHOSIS AND THEIR
                                     APPLICATION”
