Save the Date! Launch of
IFIA-ABIPIR Startups Program,
Brazil-India Connection
IFIA and ABIPIR, in collaboration with their institutional partners, including Hub InovAtiva,
Founders Institute Brazil, Iguassu Valley, Conecta International Business Consultancy,
Parimpacto, and Iguassu Angels, are delighted to extend an invitation to all those who
are part of a startup team, angel investors, part of a venture capital group, own a
company or are affiliated with a government that currently practices or is contemplating
open innovation. We invite you to join us for the live launch of the inaugural phase of
the “IFIA-ABIPIR Startups Internationalization and Connection Program.” The program’s
primary objective is to facilitate the linkage between Brazilian and Indian startups, aim-
ing to identify potential business collaborations and investment opportunities.
As we approach the launch of this program, which heralds a significant shift in how
startups perceive the internationalization process and their interactions with fellow start-
IFIA Magazine Septeber 2023 ups, it is important to recognize that they will begin to view one another as prospective
business allies rather than mere competitors to be conquered. This initial pilot project
will feature the participation of 10 Indian startups and 10 Brazilian startups. Its purpose
is to refine the execution model and, by 2024, expand the involvement to encompass
startups from diverse nations, thereby creating the world’s largest community of start-
ups. This expansion aims to enhance the value of businesses, exert a positive impact
on the entire operational landscape, foster job creation, augment income, contribute to
tax revenue, and enhance the quality of life through innovative solutions targeting the
60 challenges across various sectors of society.
