On August 26th, the following contents were uploaded on the official website for
iCAN 2023 “The Finals”:

All video files submitted by the Finalists were examined to select the winners of the Fi-
nals Awards by the Organizing Committee and jury as well as the International Delegation
Leaders. The videos were also utilized in creating the iCAN 2023 “The Finals” Movie as
mixed footage. This year, the Finals featured our Main Keynote Speaker’s Presentation,
“How to Rise Far Above Your Competition.” The Catalogue provided general and overall
information about the event, congratulatory messages by the committee, partners, and
international delegations, followed by the directory of exhibits.

Summary
The main purpose of iCAN is to build a special platform to unite the creativity and inno-
vation initiatives of Canadian inventors with the rest of the world by providing everyone
with the golden opportunity to expand their international network and business activities,
promote their inventions, new products, and research projects while achieving a new mile-
stone of winning iCAN Awards from Canada for the worldwide inventors’ beneficial gain
of a unique international success.
The 8th International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN 2023 organized by
the Toronto International Society of Innovation and Advanced Skills (TISIAS), supported by
the Innovation Initiative Co-operative Inc. “The Inventors’ Circle”, International Federation
of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA),
and The Patent Invention Magazine were held virtually on August 26, 2023, in Toronto,
Canada.
iCAN is the premier event in Canada for worldwide inventors, which has shown continuous
growth and improvement since its first edition in 2016 through 2022. The past seven edi-
tions of iCAN from 2016~2022 featured participants from 95 countries from all continents
around the world, including North, Central, and South Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa, the
Middle East, and Oceania, which redefined the event as the true global stage for merg-
ing worldwide creativity and innovation in the center of the multicultural mainstream of
Toronto, Canada.

Participating Countries and Collaborating Organizations
IFIA Magazine Septeber 2023 and the Middle East. All applicants initially competed in the competition Preliminaries for
Participating Countries: iCAN 2023 was entered by a total of 621 inventions from 50
countries and regions from around the world: North/South America, Europe, Asia, Africa,

the evaluation for Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Awards. Furthermore, the Organizing
Committee and the Jury qualified 491 inventions to proceed to the Finals, where the Fi-
nalists were examined for their additional submission of video presentations. In the Finals,
the jury selected winners for the Grand Prize, Semi-Grand Prize, Best Invention Awards,

80 and Special Awards.
