OPPORTUNITY
FOR SMARTBIZ EXPO
2018
IFIA and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) have been cooperating since 2015
to feature global inventions and gather new inventive concepts and prototypes from inven-
tors all around world.
According to the MOU signed between the two organizations, IFIA and HKTDC co-sponsor
the representation of 10 inventions in the “SmartBiz Expo”, held during 5-7 December 2018 in
Hong Kong providing a golden opportunity for inventors to reach out to potential investors,
meet with manufacturers, seek opportunities to commercialize their inventions, and publicize
the inventions to visitors from worldwide.
The HKTDC SmartBiz Expo is a one-stop platform tailored for enterprises, especially small
and medium enterprises (SMEs), to explore trends in business transformation and upgrade
through innovation, creativity, application of technology and design, and market opportuni-
ties.
