IFIA and The Patent news Sign MOU to Promote innovation
On Thursday, 25 July 2019, IFIA and The Patent Magazine signed a Memorandum of Understand-
ing (MOU) to promote intellectual property and innovation between IFIA member states and The
Patent Magazine.
THE PATENT Magazine is the newspaper dedicated to inventions and innovation, international
magazine publisher Creatiwa Studio S.r.l.s. (Italian Marketing and Communication Company). in
particular, Creatiwa Studio S.r.l.s. has undertaken an important activity in the publishing field,
with the journal called “The Patent”, an international edition that aims to deal, from different
points of view, with the subject of patents, inventions and, more generally, innovative ideas.
THE PATENT Magazine also intends to create, through the aforementioned publication and on
the topics covered in it, events of various kinds, which are functional to the promotion of patents
and innovative ideas and serve as a guideline for those who want to invest in this field
IFIA has been informed of the activities carried out by THE PATENT Magazine in this sector and,
in particular, of the activities related to the publication “THE PATENT” and, therefore, intends to
define a partnership that allows, through the development of a memorandum of understanding,
to carry out common activities for the promotion of activities of common interest.
THE PATENT MAGAZINE grants IFIA, free of charge, in each issue of the magazine, a space of 1
advertising page for each event of the IFIA calendar in which communications concerning the ac-
tivities of the aforementioned association may be included, for a total of about 40 events, there-
fore about 40 free advertising pages. The material to be published shall be subject to prior autho-
rization from the journal’s management and shall be received within the time frame set for the
printing, which shall be communicated in advance by the management, by means of formal com-
munication. The direction of the publisher reserves the right not to publish the content received,
giving reasons for communication within a reasonable period, in order to allow for any changes or
additions. In the event of failure to comply with the conditions set out in this article, the journal’s
management may refuse to publish the contents, giving reasons for the refusal.
IFIA is confident this opportunity will help to advance the innovation community as well as the
inventors.
