EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
IFIA 27th Virtual Executive Committee meeting was organized on 7 August 2019, to review the new membership
requests submitted to IFIA Secretariat by Global Invention Forum from (Cyprus) and Technology Association “Tech-
nopol Moscow” from (Russian Federation) which gained the majority of votes and were admitted as IFIA corre-
sponding members.
1-Global Invention Forum in Cyprus
is a non-profit organization responsible for support of international innovative and inventors society in Cyprus.
They plan are to represent and promote IFIA's main mission and social values in the Republic of Cyprus.
Their membership is open to all and some of its benefits: attendance at Global Invention Forum will empower
participants as the members of the world inventor’s community, open wide horizons for the realization of their
potential and build fruitful relationships with international inventors and innovators.
They truly believe that by joining IFIA they can pave the way for the inventors of different nations to collaborate
and share the innovative knowledge.
2-Technology Association “Technopol Moscow” from Russian Federation
Is a non-profit organization which sees its mission in “creating adequate conditions for enhancing and developing
Russia’s scientific, technological and intellectual potential by means of technology transfer, market incentives and
industrial use of innovations and inventions within the country and abroad.
Being an IFIA member they plan to expand their activities in their country and abroad.
They truly believe that by joining IFIA they can pave the way for the inventors of different nations to collaborate
and share the innovative knowledge.

IFIA 28th Virtual Executive Committee meeting was organized on 14 August 2019, to review the new membership
request submitted to IFIA Secretariat by The Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) from Egypt
which gained the majority of votes and were admitted as IFIA corresponding member.
The Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) is a non-profit organization affiliated to the Ministry of
Scientific Research, established in September 1971 by the Presidential Decree No 2405 as the national authority
responsible for science & technology in Egypt. In 1998, ASRT was reorganized by the Presidential Decree No 377
that defined its mission, function and activities.
ASRT is the Egyptian house of expertise. It brings together outstanding Egyptian scientists and experts from uni-
versities,
research institutions, private sector, NGOs, policymakers and prominent Egyptian scientists in Diaspora
to deliberate country problems, propose and carry out scientific studies and future strategic basic plans to tackle
these problems.
