As such, we have to focus on “The effect of creativity on
youth” as the emphasis is placed on the importance of
inborn creativity and their continuous strengthening.
The aim is to encourage motivation among children and
adolescents, to sharpen their communication skills and
to raise awareness for the development of innovative
ideas.

IFIA Youth Network Manager, Mr. Winfried Sturm, participates in IFIA international invention exhibitions in
various member states and promotes the culture of invention and innovation among the youth by
organizing workshops and seminars either at schools or alongside the events. Quoting from experience, he
states:

For over 40 years I’ve been involved with nature-scientific school-activities. That’s why I know the
importance of an early education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). All these 4 fields of
activity are the fundamentals for every nation’s future worldwide. We need engineers who are able to use
their brain capability to create innovative inventions.
