Mr. Masoud Tajbaksh, Representative of International Federation
of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) visited CIU to focus on the aca-
demic cooperation protocol agreement between Cyprus Inter-
                                                  national University (CIU) and IFIA.

CIU’s Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri had a meeting with Mr. Masoud
Tajbaksh about the improvement of the academic cooperation
between the two institutions at the Rector’s Office.

Cyprus international university continues to be a pioneer in in-
novation and novelty. With current strides towards the develop-
ment of sustainable energy within the campus, the university
does not fall short of emerging ideas for the fast developing
global pace. In light of this, the university is excited to partner
with IFIA to create platforms for students within the university to
take part in various innovative fora.

In line with the scope of the Academic Cooperation Protocol be-
tween the two institutes, the aim is to establish an Incubation
Center supported by IFIA in CIU. The need for Incubation centers
is vital in times such as these because of the high competition
that continues to direct the growth of the world's most profound
economies. In today's world, technological advances cannot be
undervalued, it is essential that students are given the opportu-
nity to develop their ideas, a trend that history has shown wide
and over. As an educational institution, CIU realizes the urgency
to spearhead these activities and is actively planning towards
                                                  this approach.

CIU students will take part in innovative activities that will be de-
signed to mimic the innovation exhibitions that are held by the
IFIA all around the world. CIU shall go further to organize high
school children in Cyprus to be a part of these game-changing
platforms. This will prospectively take place on campus and will
open to the general population for scrutiny and contributions.
