CAMPUS PARTY:

THE LARGEST GLOBAL

TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL

IFIA becomes the international sponsor of Cam-
pus Party, the largest global technology festival
that has been attracting diverse groups of peo-
ple who share, learn, play and create together.
For over 20 years, more than 60 editions have
been held across Europe, Latin America and
America. Each edition typically lasts for four
days with mini events and activities such as talks,
workshops, performances and challenges run-
ning non-stop. This fun, innovative mega event
churns out 400 over hours of content each time,
covering esoteric topics from cyber security and
artificial intelligence to digital music and elec-
tronic sports.

The multi-disciplinary nature of Campus Party
has been exciting thousands of people of all ages
particularly students and young working profes-
sionals between the ages of 18-35. In July 2018,
SingEx will be hosting Campus Party for the first
time in Singapore and Asia! At first glance it looks
like a start-up conference or another hackathon
but it is far from it. Campus Party is a ground-up
movement that brings together typically uncon-
nected people and their passions to understand
more about technology so that they can shape
the future. It provides a conducive environment
for personal transformation where participants,
affectionately known as Campuseros, can pick
up new skills and try applying them in a range of
activities designed to uncover talent.
