INTARG 2018:

HELD IN THE LEADING CENTER OF ECONOMY

AND INDUSTRY IN POLAND

The 11th edition of International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG 2018, rec-
ognized as IFIA official event, finished on Tuesday June 21st in International Con-
gress Center in Katowice, capital of the leading center of economy and industry in
Poland.

This year’s edition of INTARG was supported by many of Polish leading institutions
(Ministry of Science, Patent Office, President of Silesia Region and of Katowice City
and many others), international organizations (IFIA, Polonia International Founda-
tion) and media, by granting honorary patronage, assuming the role of partners or
media partners.

INTARG was inaugurated by the President of Katowice City, IFIA Director and President
of Polonia International Foundation. General Director of Ministry of Science, General
Director of Polish Patent Office, President of Silesian Supervisory Board, President of
Katowice Polish Federation of Engineering NOT, General Director at Katowice Mar-
shal’s Office and many others attended the result announcement Gala. The presence
of many journalists from television, radio and press guaranteed wide media coverage
for INTARG 2018.

The exhibitors represented research units, production enterprises, start-ups as well as
high schools and schools of higher education. There were also the stands of govern-
mental agency for development of science, local government units, service render-
ing compares and entities from business surrounding. The program of the invention
show was enriched with numerous conferences and accompanying events (gala, net-
working cocktail, B2B meetings).

The event attracted participants from 14 countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada,
Croatia, France, Hong-Kong, Germany, Iran, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Thailand,
Tunisia, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
