The special importance of a tight-knit IFIA family is shown in the deep sym-
pathy for the victims and those affected by this devastating earthquake,
combined with the call for support from the many IFIA members around the
world.
Especially now, there should be a recollection of our rushed, globally in-
terconnected life to remember again our unique but very stressed nature.
Every nation needs to recall creative visionaries to lay the foundations for
a peaceful and prosperous future. It is and remains undisputed that young
people, in particular, are among the visionaries.
That´s why every national invention association should realize the importance
of inborn creativity and center on its continuous enhancement while having
“The effect of creativity on youth” in mind. The aim is to stimulate inno-
vation among children and adolescents, sharpen their communication skills
and raise awareness for the development of innovative ideas. It is of high
importance to equip the world with highly trained scientists and engineers,
detect the required innovative ideas and impulses, and amplify and feed
them into the creative minds of young thinkers and inventors.

Creativity is an inborn talent rooted in the cradle expecting to be recognized
relying on human closeness, security, love, affection, understanding and ap-
preciation. In the adolescent development, self-consciousness should be pro-
moted, mistake making permitted, and thinking outside the box encouraged.
Inexperience is a creative source that needs to be used as a child-limitless
potential.
On this background all national invention associations have to identify
the importance of giant potential of youth. Without these huge sources of
creativity, the motivation for innovative ideas of young generation will be
destroyed.
