and IFIA, UNESCO, WIPO, and GCCPO awards were given to the best inventions in specific
categories.
During this exhibition, a seminar called Beyond Invention - Road to Commercialization was
organized by the Kuwait Science Club in the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry on
February 15th. The main speakers of this seminar were Dr. Sergey Medvedev, the head of
the legal department at Gorodissky & Partners, Mr. Evgeniy Sesitsky, the Legal Officer of
the World Intellectual Property Organization, Mr. Neda Aldaihani, General Manager of Sabah
Alahmed giftedness and creativity, Mr. David Farouki, the president of the Jury of Geneva
Invention Fair, and Mr. Alireza Rastegar, the President of the International Federation of
Inventors’ Association.
In this seminar, the president of IFIA talked about the challenges and obstacles inventors
faced during their journey and mentioned some factors that could help each of you move
forward on your road to commercialization, such as Global Accelerator, local Accelerator,
and Innovation Design studio.
Lastly, IFIA thanks the International Invention Fair of the Middle East and Kuwait Science
Club for their outstanding management and event. The federation hopes this invention fair
will be one of the most significant events in the Middle East and the world. 65
