The committee reviewed six new membership requests submitted to IFIA. Each
application was evaluated based on the organization’s alignment with IFIA’s
mission, their contributions to the innovation ecosystem, and their potential to
actively participate in IFIA activities.
After thorough discussion, the committee approved four of the five requests.
Decision: Five new members were approved.
4. Report on IFIA Signing of MOU with Partners

The committee was briefed on the recent signing of Memorandums of
Understanding (MOUs) with several strategic partners. These partnerships aim
to enhance collaboration in areas such as innovation promotion, intellectual
property management, and technology transfer.
The MOUs were signed with organizations across different regions, reflecting
IFIA’s commitment to building a global network of partners. The committee
emphasized the importance of these partnerships in achieving IFIA’s long-term
goals.
Decision: The report was noted, and the committee expressed support for
continuing to establish and strengthen partnerships.
5. Revival of the IFIA European Network
A proposal was presented to revive the IFIA European Network under the
management of Mr. Herbert Boos, the president of the German Inventors
Association. The network aims to reinvigorate collaboration among European
inventors’ associations and enhance the visibility and impact of IFIA in Europe. IFIA Magazine September 2024
The committee discussed the strategic importance of this initiative and the
potential benefits it could bring in terms of increased cooperation, shared
resources, and unified representation of European inventors.
Decision: The proposal was approved, and Herbert Boos was appointed to lead
the revival of the European Network. The committee will monitor progress and
provide support as needed.
