            IWIS 2024:


            A Global Hub for Innovation & Technological Exchange


            From  October  14  to  16,  the  XVIII
            International  Warsaw  Invention  Show
            (IWIS)  2024  showcased  the  very  best  of
            global  innovation,  bringing  together  a
            vibrant  community  of  experts,  creative
            thinkers,  and  technology  enthusiasts
            from  over  18  countries.  Held  under  the
            Honorary  Patronage  of  the  President  of
            the  Republic  of  Poland,  Andrzej  Duda,
            and  in  partnership  with  the  International
            Federation  of  Inventors’  Associations
            (IFIA),  this  year’s  event  highlighted  more
            than  200  groundbreaking  ideas,  each
            with  the  potential  to  drive  substantial
            advancements  in  technology.
            Organized  by  the  Association  of  Polish
            Inventors  and  Rationalizers,  IWIS  2024
            featured  pioneering  solutions  from  over
            100  scientific  entities,  including  research
            institutes,  universities,  and  individual
            inventors. An international jury recognized
            exhibitors  with  gold,  silver,  and  bronze
            medals  for  their  impressive  innovations.
            Among  the  distinguished  participants,
            the  Grand  Prix  Award  was  granted  to  Dr.
            Shahriar Nazari, Dr. Nima Hadadian and Dr.
            Foroohe  Bayatparidary from  Iran for their
            invention,  the  “Fat  Membrane  Production
            and  Processing  Device.”  This  innovative
            device produces a fat membrane containing
            stem  cells  and  growth  factors  sourced
            from  the  individual’s  own  body,  offering
            promising applications in treating wounds,
            scars,  burns,  diabetic  foot  ulcers,  and
            surgical  repair.
            The  Special  Award  for  the  Best  National
            Invention  was  presented  to  the  Cracow
            University  of  Technology’s  Department  of
            Materials Science for their “Polymer-Peptide
            Mask  Modified  with  Zinc  Nanoparticles,”
