This year’s World IP Day, themed ”IP and
the SDGs: Building our common future
with innovation and creativity,” spotlights
the profound impact of IP in supporting the
innovation and creativity essential for forging
pathways towards a sustainable future.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs), this celebration
emphasizes the role of IP in addressing global
challenges such as climate change, natural
resource depletion, and pollution.
In a concerted effort, IFIA, alongside its
170 members, including Green Inventions,
prioritizes addressing these challenges
through innovative solutions. The focus lies
on green inventions, recycling, environmental
conservation, and sustainable development
to create a better future for humanity.
World Intellectual Property Day 2024 serves as
a beacon, urging a collective reevaluation of
how we live, work, and play to achieve the SDGs.
