• Vaibhav Shirole earned a Silver Medal for his dual innovations under IOTA Diagnostics:
The M-Strip a discreet, at-home cervical cancer screening kit that provides self-sampling,
doorstep collection, and certified gynecological consultation empowering women with a
private, affordable, and pain-free alternative to clinical screenings.
The IOTA BioSampler™ an ISO 13485-certified dry matrix device that simplifies the collec-
tion and transport of biological fluids, extending quality diagnostics to households without
          requiring clinic visits.
These advances respond directly to the urgent needs of underdiagnosed populations, par-
ticularly in regions where access, privacy, and affordability shape healthcare outcomes.

          Global Interest and Collaborative Potential
Beyond awards, several showcased innovations received enthusiastic interest from part-
ners in the Philippines and neighboring countries. Delegates engaged with Indian inven-
tors to explore collaborative opportunities, technology transfer, and regional adaptation of
          breakthrough solutions.

A Defining Moment for IFIA Bharat
Speaking at the conclusion of the event, Dr. Karthik Ramesh remarked, “Representing Indian
innovation on such a prestigious platform and receiving validation from peers across Asia

The success of the Indian delegation at DOST TAPI Phillinext 2025 not only elevated India’s
reputation as a hub of science-driven innovation but also reaffirmed the strategic impor-
