Daily media reports reveal all too clearly that the world is out of joint, peace is at risk and tolerance
is being sacrificed to a national mindset. In order to counteract this negative and worrying
development, this should be made possible through close cooperation between IFIA and DEV.

The aim is to explore guidelines on
how innovations can have a positive
impact on social structures in order
            to strengthen mutual understanding,
            tolerance and acceptance. The
            international association is intended
to provide a bridging function between
            government bodies and national
inventor institutions that has so far
            been largely lacking. International
            cooperation should be facilitated,
            mutual understanding promoted
            and national, cultural and religious
            barriers overcome.

            Such initiatives, especially for young
people, with the focus on building bridges to overcome national, cultural and religious barriers,
are repeatedly praised by foreign and German ambassadors as successful «short-distance
diplomacy» that often achieves more than discussions at a high political level. Conclusion: We are
not only responsible for what we do, but also for what we don’t do!

                                                                                      new impulses and ideas
