The international association is intended to provide a
bridge function between government bodies and national
inventor institutions that has so far been largely lacking.
International cooperation is to be facilitated, mutual
understanding promoted and national, cultural and
religious barriers overcome.
And that is precisely the common goal of IFIA and DEV: to
explore guidelines on how innovations can have a positive
impact on social structures in order to strengthen mutual
understanding, tolerance and acceptance. Participation
in international inventor exhibitions enables unexpected
personal contacts and allows a view across national
borders that would otherwise not be possible.
In addition, they also open up the focus on the sometimes very serious differences in political,
cultural, national and religious circumstances that one would otherwise not be able to gain any
knowledge of. Despite all the national differences, inventors are guided by positive virtues to
create innovative developments for the benefit of people, to establish interpersonal contacts and
thus to make a contribution to ensuring peaceful coexistence. Such encounters are particularly
important for young people in order to be able to prevent prejudices at an early stage.
For this reason, we must focus on the influence of creativity on young people, with the emphasis
on the importance of innate creativity and its continuous reinforcement.
The aim can only be to
stimulate motivation
in children and young
people, to sharpen
their communication
skills and to increase
their awareness of
developing innovative
ideas. The training,
education and skills
of young people are
among the most
important resources
of our society and are therefore particularly linked to the complex problems to be solved in the
future. To achieve this, attention must be focused on confirming and promoting their creativity,
with the aim of continuously strengthening and developing it in young people.
